“The water scarcity is noticeable in the country,” International Finance Corporation (IFC) Country Representative in Azerbaijan Aliya Azimova said during the panel session on “Tackling the impacts and risks of climate change: our perspective outlook on COP29” within the framework of the conference titled “Raising Ambition, Delivering Action: COP29 Sustainable Business Forum” held in Baku, APA reports.

“Azerbaijan faces serious climate risks. However, let me say that our country not only can overcome these challenges, it can also turn these opportunities into green growth,” she added.
