On June 12, the head of state Ilham Aliyev congratulated the President of Russia on the occasion of the Day of Russia.

The message says that the signing of the Declaration on Allied Interaction in February of this year has consolidated the high level of interstate ties that have developed over the past thirty years.

“I am confident that through joint efforts, relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation will continue to steadily strengthen and expand for the benefit of our peoples and countries,” the message says.
