Ilham Aliyev opened a complex with Indian medicine in Shabran

On December 29, the head of state Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening of the Shabran recreation complex in the Shabran region (147 km north of Baku). According to a message posted on the President’s website, the complex is located near the village of Pirebedil, on the territory of 12.6 hectares. The hotel has 119 rooms and 20 cottages.

The complex is the first recreation center in Azerbaijan, which uses Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine. Special authentic therapies based on Indian traditions are offered here by professional Panchakarma (detoxification) specialists.

The Ayurveda Spa has a beauty salon, 6 treatment rooms, a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a relaxation area and an indoor pool. There are also all conditions for fitness and yoga. The center will offer panchakarma treatments, pranayama sessions, yoga classes and lifestyle training.

For business meetings, conferences and festive events, the hotel has created conference halls “Bayaty” and “Shiraz” for 180 people. The complex, which will become a creative center, also has cottages for composers, writers and artists.
