Baku: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated its economic growth projections for the Middle East and Central Asia, with expectations for growth to reach 4.0% by 2027, up from 3.7% in 2025.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the IMF has revised its economic growth forecast for the region, increasing it by 0.1 percentage points for 2026 and by 0.2 percentage points for 2027. The growth is attributed to factors such as increased oil production, the stability of domestic demand, and ongoing reforms.
