The repair-restoration, reconstruction, and expansion work on the 184-kilometer section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line passing through Georgia, which is considered an essential segment of the Middle Corridor, has already been completed, APA-Economics reports.

Starting today, cargo transportation has begun on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

The first freight train consisting of 20 containers has been dispatched from the Absheron Logistics Center towards Georgia.
