In the Footsteps of an Iconic Tenor: Memorial Museum of Bulbul

Baku: The Memorial Museum of Bulbul, located at 15 Bulbul Street in Baku, offers a comprehensive look into the life and legacy of Bulbul, a key figure in Azerbaijani professional vocal art. Recognized as a USSR People's Artist and an influential public figure, Bulbul also served as a professor, contributing significantly to the cultural landscape.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the museum was initiated by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and stands as a tribute to Bulbul, who resided and worked in the house from 1937 until his passing on September 26, 1961. The museum's memorial exhibition consists of four rooms, three of which remain preserved in their original state, offering a glimpse into the era during which Bulbul lived.

The exhibition hall is rich with materials that reflect Bulbul's creative endeavors. Visitors can find artifacts that spotlight his artistic, scientific, research, pedagogical, and public activities.
