Increasing Attractiveness of Middle Corridor Discussed in Sofia

Sofia: A meeting of the Working Group on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on September 14-15, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) told APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting, attended by head of the Working Group and ADY Deputy Chairman Nijat Guliyev, focused on issues related to optimizing container transportation and freight tariffs. The discussions aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the Middle Corridor and creating favorable conditions for cargo flows.

As a result of the discussions, a protocol was signed on further expanding cooperation in the field of railway transport. The agreement intends to increase the efficiency of freight transportation and develop trade and logistics within the region.
