Indian Embassy in Baku hosts official inauguration of regular Yoga classes

The Embassy of India in Baku has hosted an official inauguration of the regular Yoga classes.

 

The event, held in the Embassy premises, brought together Yoga practitioners and enthusiasts, followers of healthy lifestyle, and lovers of Indian culture.

 

The inaugural Yoga session was conducted by the well-known Yoga instructor Kanan Mammadov, who has extensive knowledge and experience in teaching Yoga to any person regardless of their experience in Yoga.

 

Chargé d’Affaires of India in Baku Vinay Kumar welcomed the event participants and noted that the Embassy previously held the major Yoga sessions during the month of June in connection with the June 21 – International Day of Yoga, but from now on, the Yoga classes would be held in the Embassy on a regular basis on every Tuesday and every Friday. Reminding about the importance of Yoga for healthy lifestyle and betterment of well-being, the Charge d’Affaires requested the participants to continue attending the forthcoming free Yoga classes. He also expressed his gratitude to Kanan Mammadov and wished the class participants to have a healthy and productive Yoga session.

 

The Embassy of India will host the regular Yoga classes free of charge every Tuesday from 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM and every Friday from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

 

Anyone willing to join the Yoga classes can register by sending email to: inf.baku@mea.gov.in. In view of the limited number of seats, participants will be accepted on first come first serve basis.
