Baku: The Netherlands' largest financial corporation, ING Group, has forecast that average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will stand at 5.3% in 2026 and 8.9% in 2027: Baku

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in the financial institution's updated January forecast, inflation expectations for 2026 were lowered by 0.4 percentage points compared to the previous forecast, while the forecast for 2027 was left unchanged.

ING has determined that average annual inflation in Azerbaijan amounted to 5.6% in 2025. As for quarterly forecasts, ING believes that average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will be 5.2% in the first quarter of 2026, 5.4% in the second quarter, 5.3% in the third quarter, and 5.5% in the fourth quarter.
