Initial Registration for COP29 Surpasses 32,000 Participants


Baku: Initial registration figures for the upcoming COP29 in Azerbaijan have exceeded expectations, with over 32,000 participants already registered.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the registration process for the COP29, which is set to take place in Baku from November 11-22, began on June 24 and has seen a steady increase in the number of delegates from around the world. The COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company reports that the registration process is progressing smoothly and reflects a high level of global interest in addressing climate change issues.

The conference is expected to attract more participants as it draws closer, which is typical for such international events. The COP29 will be a crucial platform for discussing and shaping international climate policy, with representatives from numerous countries convening to focus on combating global climate issues. Preparations are underway in Baku to accommodate the large number of expected attendees, ensuring that the conference facilitates effective
