BAKU — Roel Dona, Secretary General of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), and Janne Holst Høbner, its Executive Director, are currently in Azerbaijan for a working visit, following an invitation from Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, during their visit, Prosecutor General Aliyev briefed the IAP officials on the comprehensive reforms being implemented within the Azerbaijani prosecution authorities, as per the directives of President Ilham Aliyev. Aliyev also extended his congratulations to Roel Dona on his recent appointment as Secretary General of the IAP and expressed his best wishes for Dona’s tenure. The delegation’s visit continues, with further discussions and interactions planned.
