Baku: Mines pose a challenge to finding missing persons in Azerbaijan, said Program Operations Manager of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), Carmen Osorno, during the presentation of the ICMP’s assessment report on the search for missing persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized by the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Osorno emphasized the necessity of conducting work in the field of mine clearance and the search for missing individuals. She outlined the primary objectives of the ICMP’s efforts, which include establishing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, providing assistance to Azerbaijan, and resolving issues related to bilateral cooperation.
