Baku – In a significant development regarding the legal proceedings at the International Court of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has reported that the Court did not warrant Armenia’s claim relating to Azerbaijan’s investigative actions against individuals associated with the illegal separatist regime. APA’s coverage of the Court’s decision dated November 17, 2023, indicates that the Ministry views this as a validation of Azerbaijan’s legal actions.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the individuals in question are detained under Azerbaijani law, facing charges related to military aggression, inciting separatism, terrorist acts, among others. The Ministry expects Armenia and other involved parties to respect and refrain from interfering in Azerbaijan’s lawful investigative measures.
