International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival Kicks Off in Baku

Baku: With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and organized by the “STEAM Azerbaijan” project, the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival kicked off at the Baku Expo Center from November 17 to 19, APA reports. The festival’s official opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking government officials, representatives from international organizations, guests from various countries, and leaders of private companies.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the festival features participation from thousands of students, university students, mentors, and experts representing over 20 countries. They are competing in 18 different categories, including robotics, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, drone and satellite technologies, arts, innovative projects, and engineering.

More than 5,000 participants registered for the festival, with over 1,400 qualifying for the final stage. Among the finalists, 202 come from 19 foreign countries. In total, 22 countries are represented at the event.

The International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival will continue until November 19.
