Shusha: World-renowned international travelers, led by Kolja Spori, head of the ETIC (Extreme Traveler International Congress) club, visited the city of Shusha to gain insights into its historical and cultural significance.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the travelers commenced their tour from the central square, where they observed the bullet-damaged statues of Azerbaijan’s notable figures, including Natavan, Bulbul, and Uzeyir Hajibayli. The group received briefings on Shusha’s condition during the occupation period and the ongoing reconstruction efforts.

During the nearly 30-year occupation, Shusha’s historical buildings, mosques, and monuments suffered damage. However, following its liberation, extensive restoration and construction activities have been initiated to revitalize the city’s heritage. The delegation also visited Aghdam, Khankendi, and Lachin as part of their itinerary.
