Jabrayil:A group of approximately 40 members from the Most Traveled People (MTP) international travelers' club visited the Jabrayil district during their trip to Garabagh and East Zangezur.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation, led by American traveler Charles Veley, the founder of the MTP club, comprised travelers from 13 different countries.
During their visit, the travelers observed the demining process taking place in Yarahmadli village. Employees from Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) informed the visitors about the landmine contamination caused by Armenia and the ongoing mine clearance efforts in the liberated areas. The travelers were briefed that most of the anti-personnel mines discovered in these territories are of Armenian origin.
This visit is the 17th instance of major international travelers' clubs visiting Garabagh and East Zangezur since 2021. The trips provide participants an opportunity to witness the extensive reconstruction and restoration projects in these liberated regions.
