Sofia: For Bulgaria, Azerbaijan's energy investments are important and reliable in today's period of uncertainty and conflicts, Iliana Iotova, President of Bulgaria, said in an exclusive interview with APA. The President underscored the significant role of Azerbaijan's State Oil Company, SOCAR, in Bulgaria's energy infrastructure.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Iotova highlighted SOCAR's active involvement in the gasification project in the Panagyurishte Municipality. This project is a crucial step towards enhancing Bulgaria's energy independence and ensuring a stable energy supply for its citizens.

The President also expressed optimism about future collaborations between SOCAR and Bulgaria's M-Gas in a hybrid gasification project. This initiative aims to provide gas to social facilities currently without access to the existing gas transmission network, potentially transforming Bulgaria's energy landscape.
