Iran Releases Updated Currency Exchange Rates Amid Market Fluctuations


TEHRAN: Iran’s Central Bank has announced the latest official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of October 22, reflecting shifts in the value of 45 currencies compared to the previous day.

According to Trend News Agency, the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) reported that 26 currencies have increased in value, while 19 have decreased since October 21. The official rate for the US dollar is now set at 444,423 rials, whereas the euro stands at 480,914 rials, down from 482,354 rials the day before. The CBI employs the SANA system for currency exchange offices, quoting the euro at 544,265 rials and the US dollar at 502,967 rials.

The NIMA scheme, which facilitates the sale of a portion of foreign currency earnings from exports, lists the euro at 528,412 rials and the US dollar at 488,317 rials. Meanwhile, the black market rates for the dollar range between 649,000 and 652,000 rials, and the euro between 703,000 and 706,000 rials.
