“We will not wait for Russia and China for the completion of the Rasht-Astara railway line,” said Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Kheyrullah Khademi, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

According to him, the improvement of the Rasht-Astara railway project of priority among railway projects in Iran: “Technical works of the project have been done, engineering works completed, a technical estimate has also been made, we have sent a contract to investors who want to invest, we will start the implementation of the project as soon as the financing is secured.”
