According to Trend News Agency, the CBI announced that the value of 45 different currencies had fallen compared to the previous day. The official rates published by the CBI showed that $1 was equivalent to 441,015 Iranian rials, and one euro was valued at 484,075 rials. In contrast, on October 7, one euro was slightly higher at 486,592 rials. The CBI utilizes the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where the rates are higher; one euro was listed at 547,982 rials and $1 at 499,237 rials. Additionally, the NIMA system, a mechanism for selling a percentage of foreign currency earned from exports, had one euro priced at 519,906 rials and $1 at 473,659 rials. The reported rates on the black market were s ignificantly higher, with $1 trading between 623,000 and 626,000 rials and one euro fetching between 685,000 and 688,000 rials.
