Accra:Israeli President Isaac Herzog has commended Azerbaijan for becoming a model of stability under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Herzog made these remarks during his speech at the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Herzog highlighted Azerbaijan's remarkable economic growth and the strengthening of its regional ties. He noted that during its chairmanship, Azerbaijan revitalized CICA by focusing on constructive dialogue, sustainable partnerships, and finding common ground amid growing global tensions and declining confidence in international cooperation.

Herzog further emphasized that real and enduring relationships are built through practical cooperation and identifying common interests, as demonstrated by the Abraham Accords. He pointed out the presence of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates at the summit, illustrating how overlapping interests can transform political realities, turning previously unimaginable relationships into reality.
