IsDB to Launch Second Development Project in Karabakh and East Zangezur

Baku: The Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) is set to implement a second project aimed at enhancing living conditions and restoring communities in Azerbaijan's Karabakh and East Zangezur regions. This announcement was made by IsDB President Muhammad Al Jasser during his visit to Azerbaijan, where he met with Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Al Jasser highlighted that the IsDB was the first international financial institution to initiate projects in the liberated territories. This pioneering involvement underscores the bank's significant role in the post-conflict reconstruction efforts. The cooperation with Azerbaijan has already shown positive outcomes, and the upcoming project will focus on bolstering infrastructure and agriculture development. Additionally, it aims to create new opportunities for internally displaced families, facilitating their return home and helping them regain their livelihoods.
