Tel aviv: Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel has publicly condemned Iran for its recent drone attacks on Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. In a statement on her X account, Haskel highlighted the aggressive actions by Iran, asserting that the 'Ayatollah regime carried out a drone strike on a civilian airport in a neighboring country,' revealing that Iran's intentions are now transparent.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the deputy foreign minister stated that the Iranian regime is no longer utilizing its proxy forces to carry out attacks. Instead, it is directly engaging in actions that contribute to regional instability. She warned that Iran's aggressive behavior would persist unless the international community intervenes decisively.
The recent drone strikes originated from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. One of the drones struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, while another impacted an area near a school building in Shakarabad village. The incident resulted in damage to the airport and injuries to four individuals.
