Istanbul: Nizami Ganjavi’s ‘Leyli and Majnun,’ published in Turkish, was presented to the public at the 42nd International Book Fair in Istanbul.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the book was prepared within a project initiated by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Trkiye to translate all five epics of Nizami Ganjavi’s ‘Khamsa’ from the original into modern Turkish. This represents an important step toward making this Turkic literary masterpiece accessible to contemporary Turkish readers.

The works were translated by Nimet Yildirim, a professor and translator at Erzurum Atatrk University in Trkiye. A panel discussion was held as part of the book presentation program at the fair.
