“Istanbul is a favorable platform for contacts between Russia and the US,” said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“Such contacts are implemented in a different way. Istanbul is a favorable platform for such contacts. I can say that any contact is useful, however, unfortunately, we do not see the constructive approach of the US directed to concrete results,” said Vershinin in his statement on the results of the negotiations with the US held in Istanbul.
