Italy to decide on 4th COVID-19 dose for over-80s on Tuesday

Health Undersecretary Andrea Costa told Radio Uno on Friday that Italian medicines agency AIFA is set to meet on April 12 to decide on whether to approve fourth COVID-19 vaccine doses for people aged 80, according to ANSA.

Costa said AIFA will probably give the green light after the European Medicines Agency (EMA) came out in favor.
