This year, 30 years pass from the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Japan, said the Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada at the reception on the occasion of the birthday of the Emperor of Japan, APA reports.

“There are high-level relations between the two countries, which cover various spheres, economy, education, culture and humanitarian spheres”.

The ambassador said that in the “Year of Friendship”, the embassy will hold a number of events in different regions of Azerbaijan. “I am confident that this year the mutual understanding between Azerbaijan and Japan, the relations between our peoples will be further strengthened.”
