Baku: Trkiye and Azerbaijan are expanding opportunities for cooperation within NATO, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov stated at a joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Trkiye Hakan Fidan in Baku, APA reports. The Minister emphasized the extensive activities being carried out by Trkiye and Azerbaijan in defense, trade, security, and cooperation with international organizations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, there are significant opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in these areas. The Minister highlighted the potential for developing the African dimension in the policies of Trkiye and Azerbaijan, which could lead to results in political, trade, security, and financial spheres.

Bayramov noted Trkiye's extensive diplomatic and economic representation in Africa, ranking among the top three countries in this field. Developing relations with Africa is a shared objective for Trkiye and Azerbaijan, with initiatives being put forward to establish new ties between these countries and African nations.
