“Azerbaijan will transfer chairmanship in Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States to Turkey,” said former Prime Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme in the panel “New world order after COVID-19” held under the auspices of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center within the framework of the Global Baku Forum on “The world after COVID-19”, APA reports.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that chairmanship to Turkish Council will be transferred to Turkey at the summit to be held next week.

Speaking about Azerbaijan’s participation in the establishment of energy and transport corridors, the FM noted that Azerbaijan’s victory gained last year, opened opportunities for expansion of cooperation in the region.
