Jeyhun Bayramov Warns Against Joining Foreign Military Conflicts

Amman: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has issued a stern warning to Azerbaijani citizens participating in military conflicts abroad. Speaking at a joint press conference with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Bayramov highlighted the legal repercussions faced by those involved in such activities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bayramov addressed the issue of Azerbaijani citizens being recruited to fight in conflicts overseas. He emphasized that these actions are facilitated through various promises and means, urging citizens to desist from participating. Bayramov reiterated that involvement in foreign military conflicts is considered a crime and a legal violation in Azerbaijan. He further warned that such activities could lead to the deprivation of Azerbaijani citizenship.
