Jordanian Foreign Minister Highlights Azerbaijan’s Potential for Strategic Cooperation

Baku: Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, emphasized the potential for enhanced cooperation between Jordan and Azerbaijan during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. Safadi noted that there are significant opportunities in sectors such as oil, railways, and information and communication technologies that both nations can capitalize on.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Safadi highlighted the transformative changes occurring in the region and the importance of leveraging these shifts for mutual benefit. He pointed out that Azerbaijani gas is currently being exported to various markets, including Syria, positioning Jordan as a strategic gateway for such exchanges. The minister expressed optimism about a forthcoming era of regional cooperation, citing Azerbaijan's highly qualified workforce, stability, and strategic geographical location as key assets that could benefit wider regional collaboration.
