Baku: The latest reports on Monday indicate that Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur now have an agreement in place for the transfer of central midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, who is set to join the Bianconeri on loan with a potential obligation to buy, according to Football Italia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Tottenham have now given their green light for Sarr to travel over to Italy to complete his transfer to Juventus. The deal signifies a substantial commitment on Juventus's part, with the total financial package amounting to £30 million, combining the loan fee and the potential buy clause.

Sky Sport Italia outlines that the obligation to buy will be activated if Juventus qualifies for the Europa League and if Sarr appears in at least 50% of the team's matches during the 2026-27 season. This strategic move could potentially bolster Juventus's midfield options significantly.

Should the transfer become permanent, Sarr would become Juventus's eighth signing of the summer transfer window. His arrival would follow the acquisitions of players such as Guglielmo Vicario, also from Tottenham, alongside Randal Kolo Muani, Kerim Alajbegovic, Jeff Ekhator, Jhon Lucumi, Zeki Zelik, and Kamil Grabara.
