Kamilov Highlights Impact of New Transport Corridors on Regional Cooperation

Tashkent: New transport corridors will strengthen interregional cooperation, said Abdulaziz Kamilov, Adviser on Foreign Policy to the President of Uzbekistan, APA reports. He emphasized the importance of this issue, particularly for Uzbekistan, during discussions at a recent forum focused on the development of these corridors.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kamilov noted the significance of the Middle Corridor, a topic extensively discussed during a special panel. He highlighted that the corridor will act as a key channel between Central Asia and the Caucasus, facilitating the creation and opening of energy and transport routes.

Kamilov pointed out that the corridor will have a major impact not only on economic activities but also on the enhancement of cultural and humanitarian relations. Participants at the forum also observed that these new developments are expected to further strengthen regional cooperation.

Kamilov concluded by emphasizing that these initiatives will reinforce strategic cooperation between Central Asia and the Caucasus, thus contributing to regional stability and development.
