“Kapitalbank” gained AZN 127 million of net profit in first half of year

Kapitalbank has announced its financial indices for the first half of 2022.

The bank gained a net profit for 6 months in amount of AZN 127.1 million. This is up by 27.4% from the same period of the last year.

In the reviewed period “Kapitalbank” gained interest income of AZN 291.3 million, interest expenses amounted to AZN 189 million, non-interest income was AZN 40.2 million, non-interest expenses AZN 216 million, special provisions for overdue loans amounted to AZN 60.7 million, and paid profit tax worth AZN 36.4 million.

Since the beginning of July this year the assets of “Kapitalbank” made up AZN 7.606,1 million which is by 33,1 % more than in early July last year, including net loan portfolio by 38,4% more – AZN 2.743,6 million. The bank’s liabilities amounted to AZN 6,978.5 million (up 35.5%), including the deposit portfolio – AZN 6,088.3 million (up 38%), balance sheet capital – AZN 627.7 million (up 11.1%), including authorized capital – AZN-245.9 million (unchanged).
