Kazakh Delegation Honors Azerbaijani Heroes with Visit to Commemorative Sites

Baku: Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Nurlan Sauranbayev, Minister of Transport, visited the Alley of Martyrs, APA reports. The officials paid their respects to the Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity by placing flowers at their graves. They also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument, a symbol of remembrance and honor.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during their visit, the Kazakh ministers were given an overview of Baku's panoramic vista and were briefed on the history of the Alley of Martyrs. Discussions also included the city's redevelopment projects, which are part of Baku's ongoing efforts to modernize and preserve its historical sites.

The delegation extended their commemorative tour with a visit to Victory Park, where they laid a wreath at the Victory Monument. This gesture underscored the commitment to honoring the shared history and sacrifices of both countries.
