Baku: Azerbaijan's cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and its pivotal role in the development of the Middle Corridor have gained the attention of Kazakh political scientists Zhanat Momynkulov and Aman Mambetaliyev, as they discussed with AZERTAC. The country's transport links with Central Asia are also considered crucial by these experts.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Zhanat Momynkulov emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan's participation as a dialogue partner in the SCO summit. He highlighted that Azerbaijan holds strategic significance for the countries within the SCO, underscoring its role in the region's geopolitical landscape.
Aman Mambetaliyev, on the other hand, pointed out the potential of Kazakh-Azerbaijani cooperation in enhancing transport links between Asia and Europe. He remarked on Azerbaijan's proactive stance as a dialogue partner of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which could lead to strengthened regional connectivity and collaboration.
