Bishkek: Azerbaijan's accession to the Consultative Meetings as a full-fledged participant signifies the start of a new phase in regional cooperation, declared Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and the Central Asian countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Tokayev emphasized the strengthening of mutual trust and the development of regional cooperation as pivotal factors contributing to what he describes as one of the most successful periods in Central Asia's modern history. Azerbaijan's new status in the Consultative Meetings is seen as a catalyst for initiating this new stage of collaboration.

The Kazakh President highlighted that through collaborative efforts, the region is creating favorable conditions for deepening political dialogue and expanding cooperation in critical areas such as investment, energy, and industry. Furthermore, he noted the formation of a unified transport and logistics system as a significant objective moving forward.
