Kazakhstan: Developing international transport corridors and modern logistics infrastructure remains a key priority for Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during a media briefing with Hungarian President Tam¡s Schuyok.

According to Trend News Agency, President Tokayev highlighted the recent launch of direct flights between Shymkent and Budapest as a significant step forward. He also mentioned the mutual interest in exploring the possibility of restoring air connections between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Hungary, which would further enhance bilateral relations and connectivity.

The leaders underscored the importance of integrating artificial intelligence and digital technologies into their economies. President Tokayev expressed Kazakhstan’s readiness to collaborate on these issues and announced agreements to implement new projects in the financial sector. He emphasized Kazakhstan’s willingness to create favorable conditions for Hungarian companies looking to operate in the country.

President Tokayev also suggested that the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Joint Business Council prioritize fostering economic relations between Kazakhstan and Hungary, indicating a strong commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors.
