Kazakhstan and OECD Discuss Enhancements in Green Economy and Sustainable Development


Baku: At a recent meeting between Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction, Kanat Sharlapaev, and Gregory Lecomte, the OECD representative, discussions were centered around reinforcing the cooperation in green economy and sustainable industrial development, as reported by Trend News Agency.

According to Trend News Agency, Gregory Lecomte emphasized the OECD’s commitment to sharing experiences and expertise in the field of sustainable development. He highlighted the significance of the collaboration, which aims at enabling Kazakhstan to align its industrial and infrastructure projects with OECD standards and best practices.

Minister Sharlapaev underscored the strategic importance of Kazakhstan’s relationship with the OECD, acknowledging the organization as a crucial partner in the international community.
