Astana: Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev recently met with Lee Kai-Fu, CEO of Sinovation Ventures and 01ai, to discuss potential collaboration in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, venture investment, and the development of a competitive startup ecosystem.

According to Trend News Agency, during the discussions, both sides explored opportunities to attract global technology partners and expand Kazakhstan’s innovation landscape. President Tokayev expressed his gratitude to Lee Kai-Fu for his active participation in the work of Kazakhstan’s AI Development Council and his contributions to the Digital Bridge 2025 forum.

The President was also updated on the joint launch of the Kazakh-developed language model, AlemLLM, in partnership with 01ai, along with other promising initiatives aimed at bolstering the country’s AI ecosystem.
