Kazakhstan and Telegram Explore Cooperation in AI and Cybersecurity

Astana: On the sidelines of the international forum Digital Bridge 2025, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Telegram founder Pavel Durov to discuss potential cooperation in education, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

According to Trend News Agency, President Tokayev commended Telegram’s efforts in supporting Kazakhstan’s digital initiatives. Telegram has officially become part of the Astana Hub, established an office in Kazakhstan, and launched AI laboratories at the AIem.Ai center.

Pavel Durov provided President Tokayev with insights into future joint projects in artificial intelligence. He emphasized the promising opportunities for collaboration between Telegram and Kazakhstan in this rapidly growing sector.
