Baku: Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport, Nurlan Sauranbayev, underscored the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor during the 21st meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sauranbayev emphasized the necessity of enhancing the corridor’s development and efficiency. He highlighted the significance of signing an intergovernmental document to advance this initiative, specifically pointing out the importance of the Zangezur Corridor project. The Kazakh minister expressed Kazakhstan’s support for the corridor, viewing it as a crucial component in establishing a cohesive and sustainable transport infrastructure.
