Baku: The Kazakhstan Railways company is set to extend wagon support to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. This development was announced by Gaidar Abdikerimov, the Secretary General of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR)” of Legal Entities, during a General Assembly held in Baku, as reported by APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting addressed various organizational issues concerning the executive authority, focusing on the formation of the wagon fleet along the TITR, also known as the Middle Corridor. Kazakhstan Temir Yolu, the National Company of Kazakhstan Railways, will provide wagon support to both Azerbaijan and Georgia Railways.
Gaidar Abdikerimov also highlighted that 3,332 thousand tons of freight have been transported within the framework of TITR, indicating the growing significance of this transport route in the region.
