SHUSHA: Kazakhstan is ready to offer a platform for peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said today during an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha city, Trend reports. He pointed out positive tendencies in the process of normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan. 'Ensuring global security and stability are the main directions of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. We must be united in resolving these issues. The only way to resolve conflicts is through dialogue,' he also said. Speaking about economic relations between the OTS countries, Tokayev emphasized that cargo transportation through the Middle Corridor grew by 65 percent last year. 'We work closely with Azerbaijan in the field of transport,' he added. The summit, organized at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, is attended by Secretary General of the OTS Kubanychbek Omuraliev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyr gyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, Vice President of Trkiye Cevdet Yilmaz, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
