According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this is the largest renewable energy project ever implemented by ACWA Power in Azerbaijan and across the entire South Caucasus region.

One of the most important contributions of the project is its environmental impact. Another key value brought by the project is local content, which includes youth development, cooperation with local manufacturers and suppliers, and the procurement of goods and products from the Azerbaijani market.
