“There are no casualties in the ranks of the Russian Army,” APA reports citing the information provided by the Russian Defense Ministry in connection with the ongoing military operation in Ukraine.

The ministry said that Kyiv was besieged from the western direction, and the city of Chernihiv was under full siege.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has appealed to Ukrainian citizens and said would not strike residential areas in Kyiv.
