Tbilisi: Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has signed decrees regarding the agreements signed with Azerbaijan on the supply of natural gas and the transmission and transit of electricity, APA's local bureau reports. The documents approve and bring into force both agreements concluded between the governments of the two countries in Baku on May 18 this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decrees require Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform the Azerbaijani side that Georgia has completed the internal procedures necessary for the agreements to enter into force. Additionally, the ministry must notify the Georgian Parliament and the President about the conclusion of the agreements.

Both decrees became effective on the date of their publication, July 15.
