Baku: Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed his pleasure in recognizing the strong bonds of friendship between Kuwait and Azerbaijan. He emphasized the intention to further strengthen these relations for the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.

Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also conveyed his wishes for President Aliyev's long life and robust health, and for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Azerbaijan.
