Baku: Kyrgyzstan attaches special importance to enhancing cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as emphasized by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. Kasymaliev highlighted the key role of Baku in facilitating discussions on significant issues during the meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of OTS held in the city. He expressed confidence that Azerbaijan's leadership of the organization will invigorate cooperation and ensure the consistent implementation of previously reached agreements.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Kasymaliev also underscored the historical significance of the first meeting of the Heads of Government of OTS member states in Bishkek last year, which marked the end of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the organization. During its tenure, Kyrgyzstan hosted over 170 events and introduced 10 new cooperation platforms. Initiatives were advanced in various areas including agriculture, digitalization, transport, and tourism.
