A landmine blast occurred in the village of Hasangaya of the Tartar district on Tuesday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) said in a joint statement.
‘Resident of the Hasangaya village, Hajiyev Arzu Najaf, born in 1965, was killed in the blast.
The incident is currently under investigation,’ the statement said.
‘ANAMA, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Prosecutor General’s Office once again urge citizens to follow the required safety rules, do not go to unfamiliar places and pay close attention to mine warning signs!’, it added.
